What is chicken al pastor Chipotle?

Chicken al Pastor Chipotle Review - Is It Worth Trying?

Chicken al pastor chipotle is Chipotle’s take on traditional Mexican street food. Instead of pork, this version uses marinated chicken, and it’s served without the customary cilantro, onions, and roasted pineapple.

The ingredients are diced and then cooked with smoky spices and pineapple juice. It’s served in tacos, burritos, bowls, salads, and more. And unlike traditional al pastor, the chicken is cooked on a flat-top grill.

Our Review on Chipotle’s New Chicken Al Pastor

We were excited to try Chipotle’s new Chicken Al Pastor when it was released in Denver for a limited time.

We found the chunks of chicken thigh meat to be very tender, with a subtle marinade that was slightly smoky, with hints of pineapple. It had an excellent, gentle heat that kicked in after the first bite, leaving your mouth and lips tingling by the last.

It was an excellent substitute for pork and a great addition to Chipotle’s menu. We hope it stays around for the long haul, but it’s only available for a limited time. If you’re looking for something spicy and delicious, we highly recommend trying Chipotle’s Chicken Al Pastor while you still can!

Chicken al pastor Chipotle Pricing

Chipotle’s new Chicken al Pastor is a limited-time offer in select locations. It is priced at an average of $9.23 per order, although prices may vary by location.

For those looking to try out the delicious new dish without leaving their home, Chipotle offers a $0 delivery fee on digital orders from September 6 through the 11th at restaurants participating in the test. So grab your phone and order some of this tasty new dish today!

Is Chicken Al Pastor Spicy?

When it comes to the spiciness of chicken al pastor, the answer is that it can be a bit spicy, but it is generally considered a mild dish. The heat level of the chili sauce combined with the spices used to marinate the chicken can make it a bit spicy but not overly so.

This makes it an excellent dish for those looking for a manageable amount of spice but still wanting to enjoy the flavor of the traditional Mexican dish.

Adding hot peppers or chili powder is an option if you want a more spicy dish. Otherwise, enjoy your chicken al pastor without fear of too much spice!

What Is Chipotle’s New Menu Item?

Chipotle’s new menu item is the Quesarito, a unique and delicious combination of a quesadilla and burrito. The Quesarito comes with your choice of steak, chicken, carnitas, melty cheese, flavorful rice, and creamy chipotle-lime sauce, all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla.

This new item will surely please Chipotle fans everywhere and is available nationwide at all Chipotle locations. In addition to the Quesarito, Chipotle added five new menu items to its lineup, including quesadillas, nachos, chocolate milkshakes, and avocado tostadas.

These items are already available in some restaurants, but now customers can get them nationwide. The chain is relocating its headquarters from Denver to California to better test these five new items.

With the introduction of the Quesarito and other new menu items, Chipotle saw a 2.2% increase in comparable same-store sales during the first quarter.
