High-protein quick oats known as Oats Overnight is intended to be soaked in milk overnight to produce a portable and drinking oat shake.

Even while the flavor combinations sound delicious and the additional protein may be significant to some, the component and nutrition profiles don’t provide any nutritional benefit above homemade muesli.

Oats Overnight: What Is It?

Oats Overnight Review - Is It Worth It? (Complete Guide)

Oats Overnight is a powdered version of ‘instant’ muesli that has protein powder added to give each serving about 20 grams of protein.

An adaptation of overnight oats is this product. Instead of heating up the oats, overnight soaking in milk to soften and thicken them is how muesli is made.

Straight from the refrigerator, overnight oats are consumed cold.

Oats that have been soaked do have certain health advantages. Oats and other grains contain phytic acid, which can prevent your body from properly absorbing the grain’s vitamin and mineral content.

By reducing the amount of phytic acid in oats, soaking increases the bioavailability of certain of minerals they contain, including iron.

Shake a packet of Oats Overnight with 8 ounces of milk before placing it in the refrigerator for the night. The product is referred to by the brand as “the original overnight oats shake.”

It flows from a blender bottle so you can sip it, but it still has some of the traditional texture of muesli, so some chewing is necessary. The consistency is described as a spoon-free formula.

Although the inventor of Oats Overnight liked overnight oats, she found the preparation time to be prohibitive. Oats Overnight is made to be portable and convenient.

People who lead busy lives may find it appealing because it requires no cooking or special equipment, requires little work to prepare, and can be consumed on the go.

Oats Overnight also contains directions for making it hot or cold with less milk so it has a thicker texture and can be eaten with a spoon if a drinkable but chewable cup of muesli doesn’t appeal to you.

There are 14 flavors of Oats Overnight available. There are two categories of flavors: “dairy-free,” which is created with plant-based protein, and “classic,” which is prepared with whey protein.

Oats Overnight Pros

  • High in fiber and protein
  • Good iron source
  • Choices without dairy
  • Affordable in comparison to rivals

Oats Overnight Cons

  • Some people might not be interested in oats that are drinkable.
  • Purchases are limited to packages of 8, 16, or 24 meals.
  • Some flavors include synthetic sweeteners.

Classic Flavours

  • Berries and cream
  • Espresso Dream
  • Cinnamon Apple Green
  • Celebration Cake
  • Cookie with Mint Chocolate Chips
  • Peach Cake With The Top Off
  • Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter

Non-Dairy Flavours

  • Citrus Poppyseed
  • Halloween Spice
  • Strawberry Cobbler
  • Latte Chai
  • Apple Pancakes
  • Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookie
  • Coffee with Caramel

Oats Overnight offered around 20 grams of protein in each flavor to help muscles stay healthy and increase satiety.

The product, according to the firm, is manufactured with “functional whole foods” and offers “top-shelf nutrition.”

In my perspective, adding a scoop of protein to oats along with a dash of chia, flax, and hemp seeds is neither ground-breaking nor of the highest calibre. Additionally, I don’t think making conventional muesli or muesli is difficult or takes a lot of effort.

Oats Overnight is devoid of soy, gluten, preservatives, GMOs, and artificial flavors or colors. Some flavors do, however, use artificial sweeteners. Other flavors are sweetened using organic ingredients like monk fruit and maple sugar.

I don’t understand why the recipe varies between flavors, especially considering how contentious artificial sweeteners are and how generally unhealthful they are.

In comparison to other well-known breakfast dishes, Oats Overnight says its product is “better for you.”

The Oats Overnight website, for instance, compares its product to comparable breakfast items and notes that it has more protein and less sugar than a bowl of Fruit Loops or a Starbucks Frappuccino.

The product’s manufacturer further emphasizes that it has fewer calories and no cholesterol compared to a plate of bacon and eggs and fruit smoothies.

The idea that eggs should be avoided due to their cholesterol content is obsolete nutrition, and not all homemade smoothies have as many calories as is commonly claimed.

I overcame my reservations and purchased the Oats Overnight dairy-free variety pack. Eight packets of oats in four of their most popular dairy-free flavors were included in my order.

Warning: The flavors sounded nicer than they actually were, and I’m not a fan of drinking oat shakes. I will elaborate on that later.

Let’s first examine the product’s nutritional profile and list of ingredients.

Analyzing the Nutrient Content of Oats Overnight

Except for the type of protein, the ingredients in Oats Overnight are the same for all flavors.

The substances’ general advantages and disadvantages are:

Benefits of Oats Overnight

Each dish has 20–22 grams of protein.

Each dish has 5-7 grams of fiber.

Provides 8–10% RDA for calcium and 15–40% RDA for iron, respectively.

Drawbacks of Oats Overnight

Up to 9 grams of added sugar are present in some flavors per serving.

There are artificial sweeteners in some flavors.

Some flavors contain the common allergens of dairy and peanuts.

Let’s examine the components and nutrition information for Oats Overnight in more detail.

Ingredient Analysis: Are Oats Overnight Even Healthy?

Oats Overnight Review - Is It Worth It? (Complete Guide)

In comparison to conventional oats, we believe Oats Overnight to be much less healthful. The Green Apple Cinnamon flavor’s component list is shown above.

The good news is that rolled whole-grain oats are the product’s initial ingredient and that oats make up the majority of its composition.

Clinical research has revealed detrimental effects of the artificial sweetener acesulfame potassium on the gut and the brain.

Another artificial sweetener, sucrose, has been proven to impair insulin sensitivity, as we noted in our study of Bang Energy.

Additionally, this product contains maca root, which is an unusual addition to a breakfast blend in our opinion because it is a botanical component normally used to treat sexual dysfunction and is a hard-to-digest raw starch. In gelatinized form, it is usually added to foods and supplements to lower the risk of indigestion.

Consuming raw maca powder makes no sense, any more than you would ingest raw potato powder.

A Harvard Health analysis showed that cooked oats are more nutrient-dense than raw oats, claiming that boiling “helps release some nutrients that your body can’t extract from raw oats.”

In general, we do not suggest oats overnight and think they are less beneficial than regular oats. This product is undoubtedly healthier than the typical American breakfast, but since instant oats can be prepared in less than two minutes, we don’t see the value in using this product as a convenience.

Oats Overnight Nutritional Data

Calories: Each serving has between 270 and 300 calories, depending on the flavor.

Protein: Flavours created with whey protein provide 22 grams of protein per serving, whereas flavors made without dairy have 20 grams. Protein has a satiating impact that aids in lowering cravings and appetite. The presence of such a high level of protein in muesli products is unique, therefore this feature of Oats Overnight stands out.

Fat: Each serving contains 5 to 7 grams of total fat. Unsaturated fat from flax, chia, or hemp seeds makes up the majority of the fat in the food and is associated with both heart health and anti-inflammatory properties.

Carbohydrates: Each meal contains between 37 and 40 grams of carbohydrates. Even after taking into consideration the fiber content, this is not regarded as a low-carb food.

Fiber: 5 to 7 grams of fiber are present in each meal. This makes it a healthy source of fiber because it amounts to about 20% of the daily fiber consumption advised.

Of all nutrients, added sugar varies the most. A serving may have 0 to 9 grams of added sugar, depending on the flavor. Between flavors, there are also substantial differences in the types of sweeteners utilized.

You can find ones that have been sweetened with maple sugar, monk fruit, powdered dates, and artificial sweeteners. Powdered dates don’t count as added sugar because they are technically fruits.

Iron: Depending on the flavor, this good source of plant-based iron provides 15–40% of your daily requirements per serving.

Calcium: Depending on the flavor, a serving contains 8–10% of your daily requirements.

Vitamin D: Only the Blueberry Cobbler flavor has vitamin D, and one serving provides 4% of your daily requirements.

Potassium: Depending on the flavor, a serving provides between 4% and 10% of your daily requirements.

Oats Overnight Ingredients Reviews

Oats are a complete grain that is a fantastic source of fiber, plant-based protein, and antioxidants. Certified gluten-free whole-grain rolled oats are no exception. Breakfast foods considered healthful include muesli.

Oats are linked to a number of health advantages, including lowering cholesterol, reducing inflammation, promoting weight loss, and suppressing appetite.

The likelihood of cross-contamination with cereals containing gluten is increased by the fact that oats are frequently processed in facilities that also handle other grains.

Oats Overnight uses oats that come from a facility that is verified to be gluten-free, so anyone who has a sensitivity to gluten shouldn’t have any problems eating them.

Cow’s milk is the source of the protein known as whey protein concentrate. It is generally well-accepted and swiftly digested, and it is regarded as a high-quality protein. In people with dairy allergies and sensitivities, whey protein may irritate their stomachs.

Fava Bean Protein Isolate: Made from fava beans, fava bean protein is a plant-based protein. It is thought to digest similarly to whey protein.

Pea protein isolate is a vegan-friendly substitute for whey protein because it is made from yellow peas. Given that it includes all nine of the essential amino acids and is simple to digest, it is regarded as a high-quality protein.

Flax, Chia, and Hemp Seeds are excellent sources of fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, plant protein, and antioxidants. They tend to integrate naturally into any recipe and have a moderate flavor.

Maple Sugar: Maple sugar is used as an alternative to table sugar and is regarded as a natural sweetener. It is mostly composed of sucrose, just like table sugar. Similar to how maple syrup is generated, it is created by boiling maple tree sap.

The plant element is known as maca root is regarded as an adaptogen. Adaptogens aid the body’s response to stress. Although there is little human study, maca has been connected to a wide range of health advantages. You may buy maca powder to add to food and drinks, and it is frequently found in dietary supplements.

Himalayan Pink Salt: Because it has more minerals than table salt, many people think this salt with a pink tinge is better for them. According to a study conducted in 2020, pink salt does contain more minerals than other varieties of salt, but you would need to consume several tablespoons to reap the benefits. Adding a pinch of pink salt to recipes or this product is unlikely to provide any significant health benefits.

Acesulfame potassium, also known as ACE-K, is a calorie-free artificial sweetener. There are some safety issues with this contentious substance, and there is evidence connecting ACE-K to cancer in trials on animals.

Sucralose: Sucralose is a calorie-free artificial sweetener that is hundreds of times sweeter than table sugar. Sucralose is widely known as the ingredient in Splenda.

Sucralose is contentious because some people think it can raise blood sugar levels, harm the gut microbiota, and release chemicals that are carcinogenic when heated. To support these beliefs of negative effects on humans, additional research is required.

Monk fruit: Monk fruit is a naturally occurring, calorie-free plant-based sweetener that is significantly sweeter than table sugar. Although monk fruit has no known adverse effects, some people find that it has a bitter flavor or an unpleasant aftertaste.

Ingredients for flavoring Oats Overnight include cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, chocolate, powdered fruit (such as pumpkin, strawberries, and apples), dried fruit (such as apples and blueberries), coffee, and natural flavors.

Is Oats Overnight Healthy?

Some people might find Oats Overnight to be a nutritious substitute for instant flavored muesli packs, albeit not all of the flavors are.

Oats are a wonderful breakfast option since they are high in fiber, plant-based protein, and carbohydrates, all of which help you feel full throughout the duration of the morning.

Although Oats Overnight has more protein, this doesn’t always make it healthier than a bowl of muesli without it.

The extra protein may be required for people who have trouble getting enough protein during the day or who, for whatever reason, skip other high-protein breakfast options like eggs or yogurt.

For those aiming to lose weight, eating more protein and fiber at breakfast may help to curb hunger later in the day.

Oats Overnight could be a more filling and healthy alternative to sweet morning cereals and even excessively sweetened quick oats.

It’s probably not healthier than preparing your own oats, whether you cook them on the stovetop or let them soak all night in the refrigerator. You have more control over the ingredients, flavor, and quantity of sugar when you make your own oats.

Although Overnight Oats don’t have as many vitamins and minerals as other fortified morning cereals, oats are a good source of plant-based iron.

Many fast muesli products, though, also lack essential vitamins and minerals. To ensure you are consuming the vitamins and minerals your body requires, it is crucial to vary your meal choices in order to obtain a variety of nutrients.

Although Oats Overnights do not contain artificial sweeteners or colors, some of the flavors do.

In general, artificial sweeteners are not thought to be healthful. Some artificial sweeteners have been associated with increased sugar cravings, poor gastrointestinal health, cancer, and decreased blood sugar regulation.

Depending on the flavor, Oats Overnights have between 0 and 9 grams of added sugar per serving.

A majority of people consume too much-added sugar. Pick meals that have no more than 5 grams of added sugar per serving as a general guideline.

I advise trying the Mint Chocolate Chip or Pumpkin Spice flavors of cookies. These two are sweetened with powdered dates and monk fruit rather than artificial sweeteners and have the least amount of added sugar.

It’s for whom?

For people who prefer eating hot or cold muesli and wish to up their breakfast protein intake, there is Oats Overnight.

The product is made for folks who are always on the run and need a quick breakfast that will fill them up all morning.

Oats Overnight is made with 8 ounces of milk and shaken and drunk from a blender bottle to be consumed while traveling or working without the use of utensils or serving bowls.

Oats can contain gluten and should not be consumed by anyone who has celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. Oats Overnight uses oats that come from a facility that is approved to be gluten-free.

It Is Not For Whom?

Since muesli contains carbohydrates, it is not a low-carbohydrate food and cannot be consumed on a low-carb or ketogenic diet. It is incompatible with Paleo diets since it contains wheat.

Vegans can consume whey protein-containing flavors, but not the other flavors that are dairy-free. Oats Overnight flavors that contain dairy in the form of whey protein—about half of them—are not suitable for people who are allergic to or sensitive to dairy.

Strawberries & Cream, Mocha Dream, Green Apple Cinnamon, Birthday Cake, Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie, Peach Upside Down Cake, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana are the current flavors that contain dairy.

People with nut allergies should stay away from the flavors Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana and Peanut Butter Cookie Crunch since they contain peanut flour.

Caffeine is present in the flavors of Mocha Dream, Chai Latte, and Caramel Cold Brew.

Even though they have less caffeine than a cup of coffee, I would advise caffeine-sensitive people to avoid these flavors to prevent stimulant-related side effects like jitters, anxiety, and insomnia.

The flavors Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana, Peach Upside Down Cake, Green Apple Cinnamon, Mocha Dream, and Strawberries & Cream all contain the artificial sweeteners sucralose and ACE-K.

These flavors should not be consumed by anyone who avoids artificial sweeteners or who experiences digestive problems after doing so.

Does It Taste Good?

From Amazon, I bought a variety pack of dairy-free Oats Overnight flavors.

Since whey protein has a tendency to cause digestive issues for me, I went with the dairy-free flavors because I didn’t want to consume any flavors that contained artificial sweeteners.

For breakfast, I like oats both hot and cold, and I’ve been preparing my own overnight oats for years. With loads of additions for texture and flavor, like dried fruit, nuts, and chia seeds, I prefer my overnight oats to be on the thicker side.

I was interested to see how this product would compare in terms of both preparation and flavor as I’ve never considered overnight oats to be difficult or time-consuming to make.

Three methods of oat preparation are provided on the packaging:

  • For a chilled, drinking consistency, combine with 8 ounces of milk and chill overnight in the refrigerator.
  • For a chilly, spoonable consistency, combine with 4 ounces of milk and chill overnight.
  • To make a hot bowl of muesli, combine with 4 ounces of milk and heat.

I tested all three preparations of the oats and found that 4 ounces of milk, either hot or cold, was the best. It tasted like I was eating oats that had been thinned out when cooked with 8 ounces of milk.

Yes, it was drinkable, but it was also chewy, and even after I gave my jar a shake before eating, some of it stuck to the bottom.

I sampled the four flavors of Oats Overnight listed below:

Peanut Butter Cookie Bite: This snack was not extremely sweet, had a mild peanut butter flavor, and had tiny bits of cacao nibs that gave it a little bite. This flavor, in my opinion, could benefit from more peanut butter flavor.

Compared to the Peanut Butter Cookie Crunch, the Maple Pancakes tasted sweeter and had a distinct maple flavor. When compared to pure maple syrup, the sweetness tastes almost fake, despite the absence of any artificial components.

The blueberry flavor and aroma of the cobbler were so overpowering that it almost came off as manufactured.

Chai Latte: This beverage is not overly sweet, has extremely strong undertones of warm spices from the chai mix, and has a slightly bitter flavor. I only managed a few nibbles of this because it was my least favorite.

None of these flavors stood out to me as exceptionally wonderful or reminiscence-worthy. I gave my family a taste of each of the four flavors, and they agreed that this muesli is “just ok” and “not too bad.”

These flavors may have been made with natural flavors or with monk fruit sweetener, which is why I detected an artificial flavor in them.

The monk fruit extract is one of many sweeteners that can activate receptors on our taste buds that sense bitter flavors and contribute to an aftertaste, despite the fact that it is sweeter than sugar.

My mouth had a slightly unpleasant aftertaste after tasting all four flavors, which was probably brought on by the monk fruit sweetener.

The texture of this product is the biggest turnoff for me. The meal still has a significant degree of lumpy texture and chewiness from the oats, despite their appearance of being finely chopped.

It doesn’t exactly have the same consistency as muesli made with whole rolled oats, but it’s also not smooth and porridge-like.

All of the flavors I tested had a chalky mouthfeel, which I assume is a result of the protein powder because I’ve added protein powder to other recipes and encountered a similar texture.

Overall, Oats Overnight’s flavor and texture weren’t even near to what I could create at home with a few basic ingredients.

Cost and Locations to Purchase Oats Overnight

Oats Overnight is available for purchase on Amazon and the Oats Overnight website.

Depending on how many meals you order, Overnights Oats might cost anywhere from $45 to $84. With the Subscribe & Save option chosen, the following prices are displayed:

  • 16-meal pack: $45 ($2.81 per meal) — includes free fresh flavor in each box and discounts of $15 off your first order and $4 off any subsequent orders.
  • 24-meal pack: $63 ($2.63 per meal) — includes free new flavor in each box and discounts of $21 off the first order and $6 off all subsequent orders.

If you don’t buy numerous 16 or 24 bundles or sign up for the Oats Overnight subscription program, you can’t mix and match flavors.

There is a “party pack,” which comes with an assortment of 8 well-liked flavors if you wish to try more than one.

Two variety packs are also available. each containing two packets of four distinct flavors, one dairy, and one non-dairy.

Unfortunately, this product cannot be purchased separately or in a smaller sample package, preventing you from trying the product in a few flavors before placing a larger order.

Personally, I didn’t want 16 dinners when I ordered this. Instead of two flavors, I would have been content with just one of each.

On the Overnights Oats website, initial orders come with a complimentary blender bottle that may be used to prepare your oats in addition to free shipping on all purchases.

If you choose the Subscribe & Save option on the Oats Overnight website, you can receive a 10% discount.

A lifetime replacement program for your blender bottle and the opportunity to mix and match flavors in each order are additional benefits of joining the company’s subscription program.

On Amazon, the prices are the same for all meal bundles. A subscribe and save option is also available on Amazon, saving you 10% to 15%. For $39, Amazon offers a different package that contains 8 meals and a blender bottle.

In addition to a “love it or swap it guarantee” that allows you to return unopened packets of flavors you don’t like in exchange for another flavor, Oats Overnight gives a 100% money-back guarantee on all orders.

The cost of Muesli is comparable to buying a cup of muesli from a drive-through or coffee shop. However, compared to convenience muesli offerings, Muesli provides extra protein and a wide range of flavor possibilities.

Overnight oats cost about the same as ready-made overnight oat products. In the refrigerator department of supermarket stores, you can buy MUSH, RXOats, or Brekki for about $2.50 to $3 per serving.

At roughly $3 per meal, Muesli appears reasonably priced for a convenience muesli cereal.

Comparison of Oats Overnight with Alternatives

Brekki, MUSH, and RX A.M. Oats

Oats Overnight has higher protein than prepared overnight oat products like MUSH and Brekki. Additionally, some Oats Overnight flavors have higher iron, calcium, and potassium content.

Both MUSH and Brekki come in a variety of flavors and are suitable for vegans.

Sugar is not an added ingredient in MUSH. I’ve tried a few MUSH flavors, and I’m amazed at how amazing they taste without any sweetness.

Buckwheat groats, flax seeds, and chia seeds are used in brekkie, which also contains organic cane sugar and coconut nectar as added sugar.

Compared to Oats Overnight, both of these products contain comparable amounts of calories, total fat, and fiber in each serving.

The instant muesli product RX A.M. Oats can be made hot or cold. It is offered in cups or packs, has four flavors, and extra protein from almonds and egg whites.

12 grams of protein are contained in each serving, which is less than a serving of Oats Overnight.

There are no extra sugars in RX A.M. Oats. Unlike certain flavors of Oats Overnight, they are not vegan-friendly because they contain eggs.

Oats Overnight costs $3 per serving, while Mush, Brekki, and RX A.M. Oats range in price from $2.50 to $3 per serving.

Quaker Instant Muesli with Protein

With the addition of whey protein for 10 grams of protein per serving, Quaker Protein Instant Muesli is identical to the original Quaker Instant Muesli packets. Compared to Oats Overnight, this has less protein.

Compared to Oats Overnight, Quaker Protein Instant Muesli is less flavorful and has more added sugar.

A box of 24 packets of Quaker Protein Instant Muesli costs just $23.70, or around $0.99 per serving, making it more inexpensive.

Protein-Packed Muesli Kodiak Cakes

Each serving of Kodiak Cakes Protein-Packed Muesli has 12 grams of protein from pea, whey, and milk sources.

Oats Overnight has more added sugar, whereas Kodiak Cakes Protein-Packed Muesli has less protein, calories, fat, and fiber.

Kodiak Cakes Muesli is less expensive than Oats Overnight, similar to Quaker. A box of 24 packets costs $36.46, or $1.52 per serving.

Peach Overturned Cake. I was very eager to give this one a try. Maybe it’s because of the adorable label that was turned upside down. The peach upside-down cake was excellent.

Although watery, it had a great flavor. Although you’ll have to chew the tiny peach pieces, it has a pleasant spring/summer flavor.

The 290 calories. 22 g. protein.

Oats Overnight Review of Different Flavours

Oats Overnight with blueberries

The flavor of Blueberry Cobbler is more akin to a cobbler with a faint blueberry aftertaste. You have to chew this one because it has really small blueberries, but the flavor is nicely balanced.

To prevent powder clumps, I’ve discovered that this flavor does require a little additional mixing.

308 calories. 20 g. protein.

Oats Overnight maple pancakes

Pancakes with maple syrup. This is a gentle reminder and a healthier alternative if you enjoy pancakes for breakfast.

This flavor is mild and goes down smoothly, giving you a comfort-food-like feeling.

The 290 calories. 20 g. protein.

Oats Overnight Strawberry and Cream

Before you even eat Strawberries & Cream, you can smell how strongly strawberry flavor is present. It actually has a cool strawberry muesli flavor. Not too strong, but yet flavorful.

Since it seems to maintain powder clumps more easily than the others, I make sure to shake this one more than the others.

The 290 calories. 22 g. protein.

Oats Overnight chocolate peanut butter banana

The flavor of Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana is strong but not overwhelming. Long after the drink has ended, its mouthwatering, creamy chocolate flavor is still present.

It almost has the texture of chewy chocolate milk. Unsurprisingly, given my love of chocolate, it’s one of my favorites.

22 grammes, 290 calories. protein.

Oats Overnight gingerbread

Even though gingerbread is runnier than the others, it tastes just as you would expect.

This Oats Overnight flavor is for you if you enjoy a strong gingerbread flavor! Only on OatsOvernight.com will you be able to get this seasonal flavor overnight pumpkin spice oats

The flavor of pumpkin spice is superb. Its robust pumpkin flavor and aroma are ideal for individuals who adore all things pumpkin. Additionally, the consistency was exactly right—it wasn’t overly thick or runny.

I apologize if that sounds a little like Goldilocks, but I’m just being honest. Only on OatsOvernight.com will you be able to get this seasonal flavor.

Oats Overnight green apple cinnamon

The quick apple cinnamon muesli flavor is comparable to green apple cinnamon, however, it is much stronger.

Your tastebuds are immediately assaulted by this potent flavor, and it lingers long after the last drop has been consumed.

The 290 calories. 22 g. protein.

I was pleasantly impressed by Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Cacao Crunch.

It is not very sweet and has a delicate peanut butter flavor with chocolate chunks. Although you don’t feel like you’re eating Reese’s for breakfast or anything, the flavor is mild enough to appreciate.

The 290 calories. 20 g. protein.

They also come in Mocha Dream and Chai Latte flavors, but I haven’t tried those because I can’t have anything coffee-flavored.

Oats Overnight: Is It Worth Your Money?

We make recommendations for goods and services based on the clinical studies that support them. When readers purchase the goods or services we recommend, we get paid.

Oats Overnight is not advised; whole, unprocessed, cooked oats are.

On Amazon, Quaker Oats is offering eight pounds of rolled oats for $16.88. This works out to $0.19 per serving.

The “Best Value” at Oats Overnight is 24 meals for $84. Since there is just one serving of every meal, the cost per serving is $3.50.

Quaker Oats is over 18 times more expensive per serving than Oats Overnight.

Oats Overnight is available on Amazon, which we believe to be a more reliable source for user feedback than a company’s website.

The product has received over 4,700 reviews, with an overall rating of 4.5 stars. Fakespot, a piece of software that finds potentially false Amazon reviews, gives the item a “B” grade. This suggests that the reviews are trustworthy.

A user going by “DAVEandCOURTNEY WAYSON” writes that the product tastes delicious and is effective at controlling appetite, and their review is the most positive of all those from verified buyers:

These are things I adore. They were my breakfast last week when I was on the road for work. They gave me a lot to eat and kept me full for a time.

User “ValJo58” is concerned about the artificial sweetener ingredient and has left the most unfavorable review from a verified customer:

“Sucralose! I wish I had read the list of ingredients! If I could return this item, I definitely would!”

Conclusion

Oats Overnight is a low-cost, practical, and high-protein instant muesli that comes in a variety of flavors.

The product can be consumed warm or cold, although it is intended to be a liquid type of overnight (or cold) muesli.

You will have to evaluate whether the flavor or texture of Oats Overnight makes it stand out from the competitors, even though the extra protein content may make you feel more satisfied than a bowl of muesli without added protein.
